Take PA-60 North toward Moon/Beaver and continue to Mitchell Road exit just north of New Castle. (Portion of Route 60 is toll road.) Turn right off ramp onto Mitchell Road. Continue about 0.3 miles to PA-18 (Wilmington Road). Proceed north about 1 mile on PA-18 until "Y" in road with PA-158. Take Route 158 approximately 3 miles to New Wilmington. At traffic light, turn right onto PA-208. Proceed approximately 4 miles on Route 208 east to Volant. As you head downhill into Volant, the first left turn will be Church Street. Immediately past Church Street on the left will be Mercer Street. Turn left on Mercer Street. Candleford Inn is one short block on the left. You may park on either side of the street in front of the B and B.
Take I-279 North to I-79 North. Take I-79 to Grove City (exit #113). At end of ramp, turn left onto Route 208 West. After about 5 miles on Route 208 heading west, you come to Route 19. Route 208 jigs left onto Route 19 and very quickly again right. Stay on Route 208 West. About 2 miles beyond Route 19, at a stop sign Route 208 West turns right down a hill into Volant. Continue about 0.3 mile to Mercer Street on the right (just past the train cars and Northwest Savings Bank). Turn right on Mercer Street. Candleford Inn is one short block on the left. Park on the street in front of the house.
Take I-279 North to I-79 North. Get off I-79 at Portersville (exit #96). Take Route 488 West about 0.4 miles to Route 19. Turn right onto Route 19 North.Proceed about 13.3 miles (crossing Routes 422, 108, and 956). About 4.1 miles after crossing Route 956 (which T's off to the left) you will come to George Washington Road to the left. (Don't turn here; this is just your landmark.) The next left after this is Potter Run Road, about 0.4 mile further. Turn left onto Potter Run Road, proceeding west toward Volant. After about 2.2 miles, you will see Marett Carpet on the left. About 0.1 miles further, Potter Run Road ends at an awkward 4-way intersection with Routes 168 and 208. You will need to bear slightly to the right to navigate around a lane divider island, proceeding effectively straight down the hill into Volant on Route 208 West. Continue about 0 .3 miles to Mercer Street on the right (just past Northwest Savings Bank). Turn right on Mercer Street. Candleford Inn is one short block on the left.
