Candleford Inn is a 100+ old home which was built by a young doctor for his soon-to-be city bride who was not moving to the country unless she had the biggest house in town. The house has no fireplaces, instead it has the, then, new-fangled, central heating with a large cast iron return grate in the front foyer. The house features a wonderful 40' front porch which provides for shelter, conversation and relaxation 3 seasons of the year. While we do provide complimentary wifi access, we do NOT have television. Instead we provide our guests with an opportunity to talk and interact with one another. We also have an extensive selection of books (the old-fashioned paper kind) as well as board games and card games.
Some of the basics.
